The Center for Training and Professional Development (The Training
Center) offers many services that assist campus units and community
organizations in moving toward their goals as well as working with
individuals to reach their full potential. Partnering with a cadre of
seasoned consultants, The Training Center delivers expertise and
experience to each Customized Business Service's (CBS) program.
Retreat Facilitation
Organizations conduct retreats to develop strategic plans; discuss
organizational issues; create or revise their vision/mission; focus on
specific issues; and/or celebrate successes. Whatever the need, experts
recommend using an independent facilitator—an unbiased meeting
manager—whose sole interest is accomplishing your goals, keeping the
agenda on track ,and creating a trusting environment where all feedback
is welcome.
