The Advanced Leadership Seminars for Academic Professionals
When the Academic Professional Task Force released A Report on the Status of Academic Professionals (February 2008), Academic Professionals made it clear they desired additional professional development opportunities for self- and team-growth. The Training Center responds this fall with seminars—exclusively for APs—that support growth in five key competencies identified as critical for Academic Professionals at the University of Illinois:
    Collaboration and Partnership
    Communication

            - Advanced Writing
            - Presentation Skills

    Team Leadership

    Entrepreneurship

    Project Management
